Sam Jack movie!!

YESYESYESYES!!!

Frederator Films has just announced that they were granted the animated movie rights to Samurai Jack, one of the best cartoon series to grace our television screens. Even better news was that creator Genndy Tartakovsky will be "intimately involved" in the production. Tartakovsky is best known for creating Dexter's Laboratory and Star Wars: Clone Wars (the 2D one, not the one with the lifeless eyes).

[Also, J.J. Abrams will be co-producing, but no one really cares about that.]

Samurai Jack is about a samurai sent to the future by an evil wizard named Aku. Christened 'Jack' by the locals upon his arrival, he sets out in his quest to defeat Aku, so that he can return to his own time and undo the evils Aku has wrought. Sam Jack lasted only three seasons, and Cartoon Network didn't even bother letting them finish the series properly. There was no epic battle between Jack and Aku; Aku wasn't even IN the final episode.

There was always talk of a SJ movie (live-action also) to tie up the MAJOR LOOSE END of Who Wins, but apparently, the deal with New Line Cinema fell through. It's unfortunate the deal with Frederator was not drawn up earlier; Mako's vocal presence as Aku will be sorely missed.

I am so psyched about this, and the fact that everything will be animated instead of live-action will mean that the producers will have to stay true to the source material. I mean, imagine how it'd be like if the live-action Samurai Jack had a cast like The Last Airbender or Dragonball: Evolution.

Here is the opening sequence to Samurai Jack. Man, I miss that show.

WTF-worthy.

It's also kinda funny because this video is not a parody.

With Ryan Reynolds cast as the Green Lantern, whatever will happen to Deadpool?

Another gem from ItsJustSomeRandomGuy :)

If Reynolds DOES have to give up one role (totally uncool that may be), he should really stick to Deadpool. Or do Wally West instead.

Prince of Persia footage!

Not a lot, though. The video's about a minute-long, and Bruckheimer-centric. Less than 30 seconds, maybe?

Oh well, enjoy =]

"Hi, I'm a Marvel...

...and I'm a DC."

It's Just Some Random Guy had posted a new one some days ago, with Deadpool doing the rounds with the Watchmen.

Loved it, loved it, loved it. Enjoy :)

8 new clips from Wolverine!

Courtesy of MovieWeb.com! So's not to spoil too much (from face value of said clips), I've embedded three videos on here, with links to the other six.

Each individual video shows us a bit of the new line-up, with one for Fred Dukes, Remy LeBeau and John Wraith.

[HUMAN names, not mutant :)]

Enjoy! :D

The other five:

New Transformers 2 clip!

In which Sam (Shia LaBeouf) tells Bumblebee that he can't take him along to college. And where Bumblebee cries. Adorably. Like in a Japanese animé.

[HE'S TOO CUTE. Bumblebee, I mean.]

We also get to see some of the other Bots in the movie, although for the life of me, I can't really recognise any of them. Except for Optimus Prime, of course.

EDIT: The Vimeo vid apparently doesn't exist anymore, so the only one I could find on YouTube shares its slot with the Halloween 2 trailer. For the record, the Transformers 2 clip begins around the 2:29 mark.

Enjoy :)

Quidditch makes a return!

Hopefully.

But it sure looks that way in the new Harry Potter 6 trailer. I've always liked how they made Apparating more cool (very X2 Nightcrawler), although it'd make ambushing difficult since your target would see your BLACK trail-smoke coming miles away.

Also, Helena Bonham-Carter seems to confirmed her Bellatrix Lestrange signature pose.

Anyways, enjoy! :D

[I SERIOUSLY have to read this book again. I can't recognise half of what's going on in the trailer.]

Wolverine character videos!!

Five of them! 30 seconds each, we start off with Wolverine, then Sabretooth, Gambit, Deadpool, and Wraith. SERIOUSLY cannot wait for May 1st.

[I'm most excited to see Gambit xD]

Enjoy :)

New Angels & Demons clip.

Also about a minute-long, this one has Tom Hanks arguing with Stellan Skarsgaard, who doesn't want to allow him into the Vatican archives to look for clues onto the Illuminati trail.

[I don't seem to remember this bit in the book. The weebitcocky bit at the end of the vid, I mean.]

Enjoy :)

Moar Angels & Demons clips!

The first one (entitled "God Particle") basically explains why everyone's in a hubbub, while the second one ("First Marker") shows the scene where Tom Hanks and Aylet Zuhrer follow up on the first clue that will lead them to the anti-matter.

Good to see that Tom Hanks'd managed to tame his fly-away hair from the last movie. Although, since this is a prequel, ONE significant event (read: this movie) was probably the cause of it standing on end for the entire The Da Vinci Code.

Oh well, enjoy :)

New Angels & Demons TV spot

About a minute-long, most of the scenes already shown in the trailer. There are a few new (but short) ones, particularly of Ewan McGregor, who plays the late Pope's closest aide in the movie. Enjoy :)

New Star Trek TV Spot!

Another scene from Pixar's Up.

[About a minute-plus in length, but eh.]

There's no embedding option, so I'll have to link you to the article instead:

[Isn't the fat kid ADORABLE?! xD]

Sneak peek on Tom Riddle's Story.

One-minute long footage from the upcoming Harry Potter movie. Enjoy :)

Hitler reacts to the Watchmen movie ending.

My sentiments exactly. Scene from Valkyrie (2008), if I'm not mistaken My apologies, the clip is from Der Untergang (2004) (Eng. translation: Downfall).

Oh well, c'est la vie. Enjoy anyways :)

[I should really watch
Valkyrie one of these days.]
